About Nice & Nearly Neat

I’m big on organization, whether it’s in my surroundings, in my work, or in my life. But, real life isn’t always nice and neat. Things get messy, plans fail, unexpected circumstances are thrown our way, and we don’t have all the answers.

It’s how we react to the challenges and disorganization that matters. Creativity, strategy and innovation can help keep us on top of our game. Nice & Nearly Neat is about the journey of marketing, communications, social media, leadership, and life. It’s about learning. It’s not just about knowledge, but about thought, too.

About Kim Nielsen

I’m a strategist at heart, and I think some pretty amazing things can be done by integrating digital and social with more traditional marketing and communications. I have a passion for exploring what works, what doesn’t work, why, and how it can be made better.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in communication studies and a master’s degree in communication with a specialization in advertising and public relations, both from Marquette University.

I work as a digital marketing strategist at WennSoft. All thoughts expressed on this blog are my own.
